1. Be aware of ways in which racism manifests in the workplace, and define & understand terms such as:

• Racial Bias

• Racial Stereotyping

• Colourblind Racism

• Systemic Racism


2. Discuss some of the impacts of workplace racism on (a) individual people; and (b) an organization


3. Describe ways that people and organizations can address systemic racism; and create and meet diversity, equity and inclusion goals


4. To understand how harassment and discrimination on the basis of race, can breach the (a) Ontario Human Rights Code, and (b) HRPA Code of Ethics and Rules of Professional Conduct.
